last year of middle school. first boyfriend. A lot of good things are happening to Junko Makino in her 8th grade year. But there's a few twists. nothing special, no super powers or anything..
Her boyfriend, Juro Nakamura, is bipolar and manipulative. Not only that, he's also dated many other girls before Junko, since KINDERGARTEN to be exact. He doesn't even go to the same school anymore! According to him, everything she does is wrong, she always lies, and her personality's too crazy for him. She's obsessed with him, to the point she will do almost anything to be with him, even if he screws up. He's addicted to recreational drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, but he won't admit it. Junko is pressured into doing such things, simply because he doesn't want to do them alone.
Junko is a kind, lovable, crazy, naive, child who doesn't know what's right and what's wrong. She doesn't have many friends to prove her she's perfect the way she is, and the friends she has don't really care. She's only thirteen and makes commitments very easily. Her mother doesn't like Juro, so she punishes Junko as much as she can, in any way possible with any excuse. Junko is so insecure she doesn't even know when she's lying...
A couple months of school pass, and Junko began making new friends. New, crazy friends who she can relate to... like Keito, Kazuko(her old friend from 6th grade), Osamu, and Shiro. Of course, Juro doesn't accept this. but wel'll just have to see what else happens in the manga "It's Okay, I Love You" !

A darkness has risen. The psychological part of this story has opened up. Along with experiencing Junko Makino's real life, we take you into a world where anything is possible: Junko's mind. The real Junko knows nothing about this place, but Mind Junko is able to know about this world and reality. There is no one there, except Sae and Miki. Sae is practically Junko's twin and Miki is a 3 year old girl, who is also known as "The Source." They both play big parts affecting Junko's life, but ironically, Junko's life affects them more. The Mind Stage (as it is called) is a mere reflection of the reality of the world Junko Makino lives in. Except for one thing: Shikkuretsu. They are monsters who have a ghostly physical appearance and only screech. They are there to take over Junko's mind, and then her physical self. It's Sae's duty to protect both Junko and Miki, but in the end, it will be all up to Junko. What will happen next?
